BNP won’t take revenge if comes to power Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announces the manifesto

GULSHAN (DHAKA): BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said his party will not wreak vengeance on the opposing opinion and parties if comes to power through winning the 11th parliamentary elections.

He was announcing the party manifesto at Lakeshore hotel in Gulshan, on Tuesday (Dec 18).

“Voice of none will be resisted if conflict of opinion arises with the government after coming to power,” he said.

Apart from announcing pledges, he also urged everyone to encourage the culture of endurance to prevent offensive hate campaign against the national leaders, ahead of the polls.  

BNP Standing committee members Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, Nazrul Islam Khan and Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, among others, attended the occasion.

BNP, however, is contesting the 11th national polls from Jatiya Oikyafront and 20-party alliances. 

The voting is scheduled for Dec 30.
