THAKURGAON: BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir addressed a brief rally on Balita Para Madrasha Ground in Thakurgaon on Sunday (Dec 24), as part of campaign for the upcoming national elections.
He urged attendees to bring a change in the current situation of the country.
“Khaleda Zia should be freed through voting for ‘paddy sheaf’ in Dec 30. This situation has to be changed”
“But, Awami League is unwilling for the change through voting. They have police, administration to file cases,” he added.
Criticizing Awami League for ‘keeping the countrymen in bad’, Mirza Fakhrul sought votes from the attendees to change the government, the politics and fate of the countrymen.
Thakurgaon district unit BNP President Taimur Rahman, among others, accompanied him.
