DHAKA: Jatiya Oikyafront leader and Gonoforum President Dr Kamal Hossain is set to brief journalists on Monday (Dec 24) afternoon about the country's overall political situation and election atmosphere.

The press meet is scheduled to be held at the central office of Oikyafront in city’s Purana Paltan area at 4:00pm, Gono Forum media wing member Latiful Bari Hamim told banglanews.

In the meeting, Dr Kamal will talk to media over several issues, including not issuing visas for observers from US to monitor the 11 th parliamentary elections, arrest of candidates, recent spate of attacks on polls campaigns and cases against opposition candidates, Hamim added. 

Top leaders of Jatiya Oikyafront are likely to attend the press meet.
