BOGRA:   Twenty three leaders and activists of BNP-Jamaat were sent to prison via court after arresting them from various upazilas of the district.

One of the arrestees is a Jamaat-e-Islami activist while the rest are BNP’s field-level activists.

All the arrestees are accused in cases filed for vandalism, arson and explosive charges. Police of 12 police stations made the arrest.

Humayun kabir, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sherpur Police Station confirmed the matter to Banglanews.
