COMILLA: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader lambasted at Jatiya Oikyafront Convener Dr Kamal Hossain and asked him to resign as a ‘failed’ leader.

“Not the CEC (Chief Election Commissioner), you should resign as a failed leader of Oikyafront,” Quader said indicating the top leader of the opposition alliance. 

Quader, also the minister for road transport & bridges, was addressing an election rally at Miabazar High School Ground in Chauddagram of Comilla Thursday (Dec 26) noon.

“You deserve no place in the political scene of Bangladesh,” Quader said further.

Awami League candidate for the 11th national polls Railway Minister Mujibul Haque, Chauddagram Upazila Chairman Abdul Sobhan Bhuiyan and Chauddagram Municipality Mayor Mizanur Rahman, among others, joined the rally.
