DHAKA: The members of law enforcement agency held some 12 Shibir activists with 10 cocktails from a house of Mouchak area of the city on Saturday afternoon.

Officer-in-Charge of Shahjahanpur Thana Syed Ziauzzaman told banglanews: “Acting on tip off, police conducted a drive and held 12 Shibir men along with cocktails from a secret meeting.”

They were planning for destructive activities in the Jamaat-called protest procession on Monday, he added.
