Hifazat threatens to besiege secretariat

CHITTAGONG: The Islamic outfit Hefazat-e-Islam has threatened to besiege the secretariat to press home their much-talked-about 13 points demand.

The leaders of Islamic outfit came up with the announcement after meeting of Olama-Mashaekh chaired by Hefazat-e-Islam Amir Allama Ahmed Shafi at Jamia Ulum Babunagar Madrasa at Fatikchari upazila in the district.

However, they didn’t announce any specific time for their demand and the besiege programme.

Meanwhile, they have announced programmes to place memorandums to Prime Minister’s Office for not amending ‘Kaomi Madrasha education authority act 2013’.

They will also place memorandums to Deputy Commissioner’s offices and Upazila Nirbahi Officer’s office on the same issue on September 25.
