DHAKA: The official Facebook page of BNP has been recovered on Friday (Dec 28), two days after it was taken over by unknown hackers.

BNP Assistant Office Secretary Muhammad Munir Hossain confirmed the matter in a press release Saturday (Dec 29).

Meanwhile, all the distorted posts uploaded on the page have been deleted, said the release.

The social media page titled ‘Bangladesh Nationalist Party-BNP’ was hacked on the night of Dec 26.

However, BNP’s official website bnpbd.org was found disabled.
