DHAKA: Awami League President Sheikh Hasina cast her vote in the 11th Parliamentary elections on Sunday morning.

She cast her vote at Dhaka City College centre at Dhanmondi under Dhaka-10 constituency around 8 am. 

Her sister Sheikh Rehana, daughter Saima Wazed Putul and Barrister Sheikh Fazley Noor Taposh, who is contesting the polls from the Awami League in the constituency, were also present.

Later Sheikh Hasina expressed her optimism that her party will win the 11th national elections. 

She also told the journalists: “It is the people’s rights to exercise their franchise freely. So we want all cast their cotes in a peaceful environment.”
