DHAKA: The Awami League will hold a grand rally on January 19 at the Suhrawardy Udyan to celebrate it’s landslide victory in the 11th parliamentary elections, held on December 30.

Awami League President and also Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is likely to address the grand rally, set to start around 2:30pm on the day, as chief guest, according to press release sent from AL office. 

AL general secretary and also Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quder urged leaders, activists and supporters of Awami League, it’s associate organizations as well as people from all walks of life to make the grand rally a success.
