DHAKA: Jatiya Party lawmaker Moshiur Rahman Ranga has been made the opposition chief whip of the 11th Jatiya Sangsad.

Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad confirmed the matter though a press release on Saturday (January 5).

Earlier in the day, HM Ershad sent a letter to Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Choudhury in this regard.

Jatiya party will be the main opposition in parliament, the letter reads.
