DHAKA:  Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Qauder said implementing the electoral manifesto is the main challenge of this newly-formed government.

Qauder, also the Road Transport and Bridges Minister, made the remark while talking to reporters after the oath-taking ceremony of the 47 new cabinet members at Bangabhaban on Monday (January 7). 

Obaidul Qauder said, “New cabinet’s main challenge is to implement the manifesto. We will do it in the beginning and in the future too. We will try to implement all the pledges made by AL in the election manifesto.”

AL presented a 21-point pledge before the 11th national election held on December 30, 2018.
