DHAKA:  Jatiya Oikyafront decided to hold three programs for compelling the government to stage a fresh election canceling results of the December 30 national polls.

The three programs include holding national dialogue, filing cases with electoral tribunals and immediate disposal of them, and making visits to the areas where its top leaders were injured during the election.

The announcement came from a steering committee meeting of the alliance at Dr Kamal Hossain’s Bailey Road residence in city on Tuesday (January 8).

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, ASM Abdur Rab, Bangabir Kader Siddique, Mahmudur Rahman Manna and other top leaders of the alliance attended the meeting.
