DHAKA: The hearing on the rule filed seeking talks between Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and opposition BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will be held on September 26.

The hearing will he held in a bench comprising Justice Naima Hayder and Jafor Ahmed.

Lawyer Dr Yunus Ali Akand, also complainant of the writ disclosed the matter to journalists on Sunday.

On March 27, the High Court issued a rule to Sheikh Hasina and Khaleda Zia to sit in dialogue.

An HC bench comprising Justice Nizamul Haque Nasim and Jafor Ahmed issued the rule and directed to answer of the rule within four weeks.

On March 14, lawyer Dr Yunus Ali Akand filed the writ with the High Court.
