DHAKA: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader ruled out the possibility of holding any post-elections dialogue between Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the political parties.

“There exists no matter on which dialogue can be held with the political parties,” he said.

“Our party president Sheikh Hasina sat in talks with 75 parties before the elections. As the elections ends, the parties will be distributed letters calling at Ganabahban for exchanging greetings,” he added. 

Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, as the chief guest, was addressing an extended meeting of Dhaka Metropolitan Unit Awami League regarding a victory rally for winning the 11th parliamentary elections.  

Dhaka Metropolitan South Unit Awami League President Abul Hasnat presided over the meeting.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni, Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Sayeed Khokon and State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, among others, were present.
