DHAKA: Sajeeb Wazed Joy, the son of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, has been reappointed as her honorary Information and Communication Technology (ICT) adviser.

The premier appointed him under the power of Rules of Business 1996 3(B)x(i).

Joy, as a part-timer and unpaid, will work for his mother Sheikh Hasina as per her direction and suggestions. 

The appointment has been confirmed in a notification signed by Md Ahsan Kibria, director (administration) to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

Joy was appointed to the same post after Awami League came to power in 2014.
