NARAYANGANJ: Police on Saturday (Feb 9) foiled a demonstration program of BNP leaders and activists of Narayanganj metropolitan unit demanding release of the Chairperson Khaleda Zia and other fellow partymen.  

They gathered in front of Narayanganj Press Club at noon, to stage the demonstration.

Narayanganj metropolitan unit BNP Secretary General ATM Kamal, Vice Presidents Fakhrul Islam Mojnu, Advocate Jakir Hossain, Organizing Secretaries Abdus Sabur Khan Sentu and Abu Al Yusuf Khan Tipu, among others, were there.

“Police didn’t allow us to stage the program in front of the Press Club,” said ATM Kamal.
