DHAKA: Jatiya Oikyafront leaders Dr Kamal Hossain and BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and several diplomats held a meeting with the US Ambassador in Dhaka Earl Robert Miller here Monday (Feb 25). 

The meeting was held at BNP Standing committee member Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan’s residence in Gulshan-2 from 10:30am to 12:30pm.
 
They held discussion about the country’s political scenario and election, said several sources. 

Neither BNP nor Oikyafront made any official statement about the meeting yet.
 
BNP Standing committee members Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury and Barrister Rumin Farhana, UK and Australia High Commissioners and Resident Representative of UN, among others, took part in the meeting.   
 
Contacted, Barrister Rumin Farhana said she doesn’t know anything about the meeting.

Amir Khasru said ‘he is busy in a meeting’.
