DHAKA: The maiden session of the 11th national parliament will come to an end on March 11.
Business Advisory Committee of the parliament, in its first meeting held at Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Monday (Mar 4), has taken the decision, a press release of Parliament Secretariat said.
Committee member and also leader of the parliament Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina took part in the meeting with committee chairman and Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
Committee members Rowshan Ershad, Amir Hossian Amu, Tofail Ahmed, Fazlul Karin Selim, Hasanul Haque Inu and Fazle Rabbi Miah, were, among others, at the meeting.
The first session of the parliament has begun on January 30.
In the first session, five ordinances have bee placed before the parliament. The bills that replaced the ordinances have been passed in the parliament. The President has also approved the bills on February 28, 2019.
