DHAKA: Rowshan Ershad has been appointed as deputy leader of the opposition party in the National Parliament.

Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad said, “As Chairman of Jatiya Party, leader of the opposition party and parliamentary party chairman, I am removing GM Quader from the post of deputy leader of the opposition party. Now, Rowshan Ershad is nominated as deputy leader of the opposition party.”

The 'organizational order,' signed by HM Ershad in JP's pad, was issued on Saturday (March 23).  

The decision has been taken according to the article 20/1 K of the party’s constitution. 

“A proposal has already been sent to the speaker of the house to take necessary measures in this regard,” the organizational order also reads.
