DHAKA UNIVERSITY (DU): Bangladesh Chhatra Legaue (BCL) has formed a committee to run investigation into the attack carried out at a press briefing of its leaders who failed to get posts in the new committee.

BCL new committee's Senior Vice President Al Nahian Khan Joy, Law Affairs Secretary Fuad Hossain Shahadat and Information and Research Affairs Secretary Pallab Kumar Barman were placed in the three-member investigation committee formed on Monday (May 13) night.

The central core of BCL asked the committee to submit the findings in next 48 hours.

The matter was confirmed in a press release, signed by BCL Central Unit President Rezwanul Haque Chowdhury Shovon and General Secretary Golam Rabbani.

In the press release, the BCL leaders also condemned the attack and demanded exemplary punishment for the persons involved.
