DHAKA: Road Transport & Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said changes have been brought in the cabinet aiming to enhance work pace as a demand of time.
The minister was talking to reporters at Setu Bhaban in Banani Monday (May 20) noon.
"Prime Minister retains the sloe authority to reshuffle, revise or reform the cabinet," he said.
"It (the reshuffle) has been done for facilitating work," he added.
The minister further said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has made befitting step for proper coordination of work and as a demand of time and reality.
However, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has made the first change in the cabinet Sunday (May 19) five months after forming the government, by shifting charges among the ministers and state ministers of LGRD and Posts, Telecommunications and IT.
