NATORE: A local leader of Jubo League returned to his Natore residence early Thursday (May 23) nearly 115 days after he had gone missing.
Unidentified persons dropped Jamil Hossain Milon near his residence in suburban Taltola Half-Rasta area of the sadar upazila, by a microbus, around 3am.
He walked to his residence at early hours in the morning.
Milon's father Emdadul told Banglanews that plainclothes law enforcers picked up Milon on February 1.
Locals staged weeklong demonstration demanding trace of Milon.
Emdadul demanded the administration to investigate into who had 'captivated' his son for three months and 23 days.
After returning home, Milon exchanged greetings with his followers swarmed to his residence, but declined any talk with reporters.
He announced to run for the chairman post in Natore sadar upazila parishad election, before going missing.
However, sources said that Milon is accused in at least 13 cases filed on charge of illegal arms, drug abuse, assaulting government official and terrorism.
