Dhaka: The counsel of former President and Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad Monday cross-examined his divorced wife Bidisha in a family-feud case field with the Family Court of Dhaka for keeping custody of her son Eric.

Judge Shammi Akhter later fixed June 1 as the next date for further cross-examining the divorcee. Bidisha’s lawyer Abdul Mannan stood for her in the court.

Ershad’s lawyer Sirajul Islam said, “Bidisha holds two passports containing different husband’s names and dates of birth. She was mainly inquired in this regard.”

The embroiled lady filed the case on May 27, 2009 against her ex-husband Ershad demanding the custody of Eric.
