SATKHIRA: The half-day hartal, called by Jatiyatabadi Matshyajibi Dal observed in the district Wednesday.

BNP and its front organizations observed the shutdown demanding the justice of the killing local BNP leader Aman Ullah Aman.

Hartal supporters brought out a procession in New Market area of the district town around 8:30am.

Later, local BNP leaders, in a short rally, demanded the justice of Amanullah murder.

On September 6, he was killed in a factional clash during a party council at district Shilpakala Academy.
