BNP has picked SM Jahangir Hossain and Md Selim Reza as its candidates to contest the upcoming Dhaka-18 and Sirajganj-1 by-elections respectively. 

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the candidates at a press briefing held at party Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan political office around 5:15 pm on Friday. 

Earlier on September 30, Awami League picked Mohammad Habib Hasan and Tanvir Shakil Joy as its candidates to contest the upcoming Dhaka-18 and Sirajganj-1 by-elections respectively.
