Rajshahi lawmaker Fazle Hossain Badsha, who tested positive for Covid-19) was airlifted to Dhaka on Thursday for better treatment.

He was flown to Dhaka by an Air Force air ambulance from Rajshahi around 3pm and admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital.

Earlier, Head of Medicine Dr Khalilur Rahman of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital referred him to Dhaka for better treatment. 

Badsha, also general secretary of Worker's Party, was feeling sick since he took the second dose of corona vaccine on April 8.

Badsha was admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital after he had tested positive for the virus on Wednesday, said Rajshahi city unit Workers' party general secretary Debashish Pramanik Debu.
