Dildar Hossain Selim, former lawmaker from Sylhet-4 constituency and joint organising secretary of BNP executive committee died at a hospital in Sylhet city on Wednesday night.

He breathed his las around 9:45 pm while undergoing treatment at Mount Adora Hospital.

Sylhet City Corporation Mayor Mr Ariful Haque Choudhury confirmed the news.

Selim had been suffering from various diseases for a long time. He recently returned home from the United States after treatment.

Dildar Selim was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday night following severe respiratory problem.
