The High Court on Wednesday granted BNP central executive committee member Nipun Roy Chowdhury bail in two cases filed for plotting subversive activities.    

The HC bench of Justice Muhammad Abdul Hafiz and Justice Mohammad Ali passed the order after hearing the bail petition in the cases.   

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members arrested Nipun on March 28 from her Rayer Bazar home in the capital.

According to RAB, Nipun was arrested for her involvement in torching buses in capital on 27 March.
