BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia received second dose of coronavirus or Covid-19 vaccine at Sheikh Russel Gastroliver Institute and Hospital at Mohakhali in the capital on Wednesday.
She received the first dose of Moderna Covid-19 vaccine on July 19.
On April 11, the 76-year-old BNP chief tested positive for Covid-19 and she was admitted to Evercare Hospital on April 27.
Later, he tested negative for Covid-19 on May 8, 27 days after she had been infected with the deadly virus.
On June 19, Khaleda Zia returned to her Gulshan residence after being hospitalized for nearly two months for coronavirus infection and other complications.
Her medical team members are providing her with treatment at her residence for her underlying health complications.
Khaleda has been living in her Gulshan residence since the government suspended her imprisonment order in March 2020 after the coronavirus pandemic unfolded in Bangladesh.
She had served 25 months out of 17 years of prison sentences in two graft cases, involving Zia Orphanage Trust and Zia Charitable Trust.
