Hefazat secretary general Nurul Islam Jihadi passes away 

Nurul Islam Jihadi, the secretary general of Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh, died at a hospital in Dhaka on Sunday.

He breathed his last at around 11:40 at Labaid Specialized Hospital.

Hefazat's publicity secretary Maulana Muhiuddin Rabbani confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

On Saturday, Jihadi was put on life support after he suffered a cardiac arrest.

Earlier, Jihadi was admitted to the hospital after he fell sick around 9 pm.
