The health condition of Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader is improving, confirmed by his physicians here on Wednesday (Dec 15).
"The physical condition of Obaidul Quader is comparatively better than Tuesday," said Professor Dr Sharfuddin, Vice Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) and chief of 10-member medical board formed to treat Quader.
"His blood pressure and oxygen saturation are also normal," he said.
Although Quader, also general secretary of the ruling Awami League, is now out of danger, he will have to stay in intensive care unit (ICU) for more 2-3 days, the VC said.
Obaidul Quader admitted to the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital as he fell sick on Tuesday (December 14).
Later, the BSMMU formed a ten-member medical board for his treatment.
