Taimur Alam Khandaker, who is contesting for mayoral post in Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) Polls, has been removed from the Advisory Council to the BNP Chairperson.

BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi confirmed the development to the media on Monday.

Taimur Alam was the president of Narayanganj district BNP and member of the BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s advisory council.

On December 26 in 2021, Taimur Alam Khandaker was removed as president of Narayanganj district BNP.
