BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and his wife Rahat Ara Begum tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19).

BNP Chairperson's press wing member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter on Tuesday (Jan 11).

Sources said that Mirza Fakhrul and his wife Rahat Ara Begum gave the sample for Covid test on Monday. Their test results came out positive on Tuesday.

Both of them are currently in isolation at their home in Uttara of the capital.
