Elections to 218 union parishads (UPs) of 42 upazilas under 22 districts of the country will be held on January 31 (Monday) in the sixth phase.  

The voting will begin at 8:00am and continue till 4:00pm without any break.

Of the centres, electronic voting machine (EVM) will be used in 216 UPs while ballot papers will be used in two UPs. 

The Election Commission (EC) has taken all kinds of preparations to hold elections peacefully.

Meanwhile, election equipment including EVM were sent to the voting centres.
