DHAKA:  Ruling 14-party alliance announced that they would hold dialogue if the opposition called off their scheduled hartal.

After emerging from 14-party meeting, Awami League presidium member Tofael Ahmed came up with disclosure in a press briefing at Dhanmondi AL president’s office on Saturday afternoon.

Earlier on Friday, BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia announced that the opposition parties would enforce hartal from October 27-29 if the government does not go for dialogue over poll-time government.
