BNP leader MA Mannan on life support

BNP vice-chairman and former mayor of Gazipur City Corporation Prof MA Mannan has been put on life support as his health condition deteriorated.

The former minister was admitted to the emergency department of United Hospital in the capital on Wednesday night.

BNP chairperson's press wing member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter.

The 72-year-old BNP leader was suffering from various old age complications for a long time, he said.
