Former state minister and BNP’s Rural Development and Cooperatives Secretary Advocate Gautam Chakraborty passed away at a hospital in the capital on Friday (May 27) afternoon.

Gautam Chakraborty breathed his last at Evercare Hospital around 1:30pm while undergoing treatment.

BNP chairperson's media wing member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter to the Media. 

Earlier, he was undergoing treatment at Dhanmondi’s Ibn Sina Hospital. 

Gautam Chakraborty was also the vice president of Jatiyatabadi Krishak Dal.
