JHENAIDAH: A leader of opposition BNP was killed in a bomb attack and firing by miscreants at Dakhalpur bazaar under Horinakunda upazila on Sunday noon.

The deceased was identified as Abul Hossain, 56, the president of Harinakudi upazila unit BNP and Doulatpur Union Unit BNP.

Witnesses said miscreant opened fire and hurled bomb at the BNP leader while he was sitting a shop at the bazaar after joining a political programme at around 12:30pm.
