BNP’s Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir strongly condemned and protested cases filed against the Rajshahi district BNP leaders.

Mirza Fakhrul protested in a statement on Wednesday (July 27).

He said “I strongly condemn and protest against the false and fabricated cases filed by Rajshahi Metropolitan Awami League leaders in the name of Rajshahi district BNP convener Abu Saeed Chand, BNP leader Babul Hossain, Md. Shimul Sarkar, Shamim Sarkar, Md. Mukul Hossain, Helal Uddin Rial, and Jahangir Alam.”

The false cases filed in the name of BNP leaders are the manifestation of the continuous inhuman torture of the government, Fakhrul said.

Mirza Fakhrul called for the immediate withdrawal of false and fabricated cases filed in the name of BNP leaders in Rajshahi district and an end to police harassment.
