Education Minister Dipu Moni today (July 28) has expressed her regret for halting some educational institutes to hold political events in Dakshinkhan on Monday.

She was present as chief guest at that political program.

Education Minister urged not to hold such events on the grounds of educational institutions and damage to educational programs.

On July 25, the triennial conference of Thana and Ward unit Awami League was organised at Chairman Bari area in Dakshinkhan in the capital closing five educational institutions.

The educational institutions have been kept closed from 9am-2pm for pandel and hanging up banner-posters, according to the report published in media.
