Bangladesh Chhatra Dal (BCD) Bhola district president Noor Alam today (Aug 3) succumbed to his injuries following Wednesday's (July 31) clash between the BNP and police in Bhola.

He died around 3 pm while undergoing treatment in a hospital in Dhaka.

Bhola District BNP President Golam Nabi Alamgir confirmed this information.

However, hundreds of police and BNP activists were injured in this incident.

The clash took place after the protest rally of BNP organized in Bhola on Sunday (July 31) as part of the central program against electricity and energy mismanagement across the country was interrupted.

Two separate cases have been filed against 400 leaders and activists by the police.
