Bangladesh beat Ireland by 183 runs in the first match of three one-day internationals in Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Saturday.
Ebadot Hossain scalped four wickets conceding 42 runs and Nasum Ahmed picked three wickets 43 runs while Taski Ahmed and Shakib Al Hasan claimed two and one wicket each.
Bangladesh scored 338-8 in 50 overs (Shakib Al Hasan 93, Towhid Hridoy 92, Mushfiqur Rahim 44; G. Hume 4-60).
The remaining ODIs will be played in Sylhet on Monday and Thursday.
