Bangladesh beat Maldives 3-1 to keep semi-final hopes alive

Bangladesh kept their hopes alive for the semifinals of Bangabandhu SAFF Championship 2023 by thrashing Maldives by 3-1 goals in their second match of Group B at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru, India today (June 25).

Rakib Hossain, Tariq Kazi and Sheikh Morsalin scored one goal each for the team.

With this win, Bangladesh level on points with Maldives with one game left, which they will play against Bhutan, while Maldives play Lebanon.
