The Bangladesh Women’s Football team received a warm reception upon their return to Dhaka on Thursday (Oct 31) afternoon, bringing home the SAFF Championship trophy.
The team, landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, greeted by fans and officials celebrating their remarkable achievement.
Bangladesh made history on Wednesday by clinching their second consecutive South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Women's Championship title, defeating host nation Nepal 2-1 at Kathmandu’s Dashrath Rangasala Stadium.
Repeating their 2022 success, the Bangladesh team once again overcame Nepal in the final, maintaining an undefeated record throughout the seven-nation tournament and further solidifying their dominance in the region.
