New Zealand lead by 228 runs

DHAKA: New Zealand scored 260 for 7 in their second innings on the fifth and final day of the first Test Match against Bangladesh taking lead by 228 runs in Chittagong Sunday.

After the over-85, Ross Taylor was in crease with 48 at Jahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.

Before going back to pavilion, PG Fulton and Kane Williamson scored 59 and 74 respectively.

Sohag Gazi bagged six wickets with hatrick while Nasir picked up one.

Earlier in the first innings, Bangladesh scored 501 and New Zealand 469.
