NZ to take big lead into 2nd Test

DHAKA: Visiting New Zealand is moving toward to take a big lead into second Test against Bangladesh at Mirpur She-e-Bangla Stadium Thursday.

Till filing the report, New Zealand is leading by 144 runs with 2 wickets remaining in the 1st innings while the total score was 426 for eight in 136.2 over.

Watling and Sodhi were on the crease with 59 and 55 runs respectively.

Williamson scored 62, Taylor 53, Anderson 116 before going back to pavilion.

Shakib Al Hasan bagged five wickets.

Earlier, Bangladesh lost all wickets to score 282 runs in 74.5 over in the first innings.

Tamim Iqbal, Mominul Haque and Marshal Ayub scored 95, 47 and 41 runs respectively.

N Wagner bagged five wickets, Sodhi three while Anderson and Boult got one wicket each.
