The government has postponed Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations scheduled for May 14 and May 15 under Jessore, Chattogram, Barishal, Cumilla, madrasah and technical education boards due to the extreme cyclonic storm 'Mocha'.

Inter-education board coordination committee informed this in a press release on Saturday (May 13). 

Meanwhile, Cox's Bazar maritime port was advised to hoist Great Danger Signal 10 while Chattogram and Payra ports asked to keep hoisting Great Danger Signal 8 as extremely cyclone Mocha makes its way to the southeastern coast of Bangladesh.

Besides, Mongla port has been advised to keep hoisting Warning Signal 4.
