DHAKA: The Dhaka University 'Ga' unit admission test for first year honors courses for the session 2015-2016 was held on Friday morning.

The one-hour examination at 56 centres across the capital, including on the DU campus, started from 10am.

A total of 43,234 candidates were applied for 1,170 seats under the unit this year. That means, 37 students are vying against per seat.

On the other hand, university administration had remained alert to prevent all evil attempts during exam.

Acting Proctor of DU Prof Amzad Ali told banglanews that two candidates, who carried admit card with same roll number, were detained from university lecture theater center.

They are being interrogated at proctor’s rom.

The proctor also said that no calculator, mobile phone or electronic devices were allowed in the examination hall like every year.
