GAZIPUR: The degree examinations for regular students of 2013-14 session of National University (NU) will begin on Thursday (November 19).

A press release, signed by NU public relations, information and counseling department acting director Mohammad Fayzul Karim, said on Wednesday.

As many as 214,073 students from 1,733 colleges will participate in the examinations.

NU vice-chancellor Harun-or-Rashid told banglanews that the examination will be held on time despite Jamaat-called daylong countrywide hartal on the day.
